Here is our tentative schedule of events! Please let Lin know if you know of any festivals, or have any ideas that we can participate in!
Monday, Jan 26, 1-3pm: First drop-in meeting! Get to know each other, new members can purchase yarn & used needles and hooks (or bring some if you want to sell them!)
Monday, Feb 2, 1-3pm: How to Knit & Crochet Part I (bring your own supplies, help someone learn, or learn for yourself!)
Thursday, Feb 5, 5:30pm: First General Meeting: Make plans, buy supplies, make buttons, eat snacks! Library Room 2006
Monday, Feb 9, 1-3pm: How to Knit & Crochet Part II (bring your own supplies, help someone learn, or learn for yourself!)
Monday, Feb 16, 11-4pm: Reading Break Outing! We'll meet at Three Bags Full, then check out Birkeland Bros. before breaking for lunch. Hopefully we can do some knitting/crocheting in public if the weather is okay!
Monday, Feb 23, 1-3pm: How to Knit in the round (circular needles, double-pointed needles, magic loop), Crochet portion TBA!
Monday, Mar 2, 1-3pm: How to make socks. Everything you've always wanted to know!
Sunday, Mar 8, 2-4pm: Knitting & Crocheting in public. Location TBA!
Monday, Mar 9, 1-3pm: Knitting toys and crocheting amigurumi items. Fun and cute little items!
Monday, Mar 16, 1-3pm: Cables and other funky textures and how to work them into your knitting/crocheting
Monday, Mar 23, 1-3pm: Kool-Aid dying and spinning demonstration
Monday, Mar 30, 1-3pm: Beads, buttons, and other snazzy accessories
Monday, Apr 6, 1-3pm: Working with wire, leather, and other strange mediums!
